MashAllah it is great seeing brothers and sisters working to help muslims in such important aspects such as mentioned in the trailer. However I strongly disagree with filling out a form to be chosen for a halaqa. Shouldn’t the halaqa be open to all muslims?

I would like to volunteer with you. I have been running Halaqa for the pre-youth for years. Now I am trying to create a new halaqa for the youth. So, let me know how I can help.

The Muslim Association of Canada runs around 15 different halaqas in the city. These are coordinated via the MAC Youth Committee and the Education Committee. This same model is implemented in different cities as well, such as Montreal, Toronto, Hamilton, Windsor, etc.

assalama alleykum,
I have attended couple halaqas and mansha’allah they were great sources of information and rememberance of allah SWT.
I sometimes wonder though, is there central organization that coordinates these halaqas and their programs so that not halaqas of the same type or programing are held at same time.
